    The UIS ICT PowerHub offers comprehensive training programs at three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced, covering a wide range of topics in ICT fundamentals. For beginners, the program provides a solid foundation in basic computer skills, software applications, and digital literacy. Intermediate-level courses delve deeper into areas like Full-Stack Web Development, equipping learners with the knowledge and tools to design and build dynamic websites and web applications. Advanced courses focus on mastering programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, preparing students for advanced software development projects and careers in software engineering. Additionally, the PowerHub offers certification pathways for industry-standard credentials like CompTIA, Cisco, and Digital Insights, ensuring that participants gain recognized qualifications and expertise in areas such as networking, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

     

     

    UIS ICT PowerHub is a subsidiary of Unity International Schools established in year 2000. Unity International Schools, originally established as a business name in the year 2000, was officially registered as a limited liability company under the name UIS International Schools in 2021. This School was founded by Dr. David O. Oyetunji, who has been deeply involved in ICT and education since 1983. The school is supported by Mrs. Victoria B. Oyetunji and the childeren. UIS ICT PowerHub specializes in offering Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced programs in various ICT-related fields such as ICT Fundamentals, Full-Stack Web Development, Programming Languages, CompTIA, Cisco, and Digital Insights.

     

    The history of UIS ICT PowerHub can be traced back to the extra-mural study center established in 1997, which evolved into a full-fledged school by the year 2000. The school has embraced digital technologies extensively, using software and cloud infrastructures for all academic activities and resources. Exams at UIS ICT PowerHub are conducted through Computer Based Tests (CBT), reflecting the school's commitment to modern educational practices.

     

    UIS ICT PowerHub is afliatrd to bodies locally and internationally that are accredited for certifications by Microsoft, Cisco, etc. The School, on its own, is accredited by several reputable educational bodies, including the Nasarawa State Ministry of Education, West African Examination Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO), National Board for Technical Education (NBTEB), and Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAMB). Additionally, the school has a collaboration with the Federal University Lokoja to offer Diploma, Special Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, and Masters Programs.

     

    The programs offered by UIS ICT PowerHub cater to students aged 11 years and above, as well as adults and elderly individuals looking to build careers and acquire ICT skills to support or enhance their earnings through direct jobs or online opportunities worldwide. The school's mission is to support, guide, and nurture students until they achieve world-class careers in ICT, gain admissions to local and international institutions, and become part of the global ICT professionals community.
